This study was conducted to develop “An Android Mobile Application with SMS notification for Disaster Preparedness in Pacific Area of the Southern Leyte” for disseminating public Advisory using SMS and online notification. This study evaluates the performance of the current and proposed system to identify the significance difference between the two system. This study used comparative method to determine the problems encountered in the terms of performance, usability, and maintainability of the develop system. The respondents of this study were the MMDRRM Officer and residents of each Municipalities in Pacific Area of the Southern Leyte. In gathering data, questionnaire was used as an instrument. The data gathered were analyze and interpreted using comparative statistic in SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science). Analysis of the data showed that all the respondent agrees that the develop system was appropriate system to be use by the MDRRM Officer and residents in Pacific Area of the Southern Leyte.
